Sidmouth has a lot to offer visitors, the rear of the house overlooks National Trust parkland, The Byes, which follows the river Sid through the town to the seafront to the east and onto a lovely promenade walk along the seafront to the west of the town and Connaught Gardens were there are regular music concerts during the summer months.

Nearby restaurants include Neils Restaurant, Sidmouth Tandoori, The Cinnamon Tree, and Moores Restaurant.
