Three luxury holiday cottages beautifully converted two from a flint barn and one from former stables all furnished to a very high standard but retaining their original character and exposed beams, rated 4 & 5 star by Visit England Services 5th May 2021, retaining all our accreditations, Long Chimney Cottages are situated in a beautiful part of East Devon that has been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. All our Cottages are baby / child friendly and we also accept pets. We have a fantastic games room and fitness facility.

Nearby restaurants include Bloaters, Restaurant At The Salty Monk, Bloaters Of Sidford, and The Fountain Head.

The whole family hired all 3 cottages and found the main cottage , Stable cottage, to be of a much higher quality than the other 2 which had much cheaper furnishings and fittings. We stayed in flint cottage which is the end one (all 3 are attached in a row ) this was the lowest quality one and the living area was very small downstairs (not really big enough for 4 )

Positives: The kitchen in Stable cottage is fab fully fitted with high end equipment and open plan with living room with log burner

Negatives: kitchens in other cottages where not fully fitted and of poor quality and poorly equipped , No log burners in other cottages and no I pod dockers. Towels where hard and crispy and crockery was dirty . Much of the shown facilities on the website are the owners and off bounds
