Ploversfield B&B is a classic B&B with indoor swimming pool and sauna in the beautiful Black Down Hills in Hemyock, Devon, but not far from the Somerset border. Hemyock is on the river Culm that runs through the village next to the medieval church and castle.

Our three rooms have luxury en suite bathrooms; king beds, tea/coffee trays, smart TVs, and pretty views from each window. Large garden with sunny terrace, plenty of parking on our gated double driveway.

There is a separate guest breakfast room, guest sitting room with large screen TV and log burner. A full English breakfast as well as a continental breakfast is included - local farm sausage, local eggs, homemade conserves and jams, fresh juices, cereals, croissants, yogurts, pain au chocolat, cafetiere of coffee.pot of Twinings tea, smoked salmon and more ....

We are near the seaside, lovely walking/biking routes, plenty of attractions in Devon or Somerset.

Walking distance to the village pub, well known for good meals at a reasonable price. Also in the village there are sports facilities, tennis courts, bring your tennis gear and we can book a court for you, two shops/PO, hairdressers, doctors etc and a bus route to Taunton (and beyond) or to the coast at Seaton.

Sauna and indoor swimming pool 30 ft x 15 ft. large garage for your bicycles. bus service to the coast and Taunton. Plenty attractions nearby: Within an hours drive are Montacute House, Barrington Court, Ford Abbey and Dunster Castle. Within an hour and a half you could be at Stourhead or Athelhampton. A day out can take you to the Eden Project and to the Lost Gardens of Heligan. Yeovilton and the Fleet Air Arm Museam, plus the Haynes International Motor Museum are nearby, as is the Mansel race track, Devon tea shops, shopping at Street Shopping Village and much more... -.
