On its far bank there is a small playing field with football posts, outdoor badminton and activity equipment for younger children, also a paved barbecue area with picnic tables. Fenced from this is a dog walking area. Hundreds of forest trees of more than a dozen varieties, and scores of species of flowering shrubs line the valley sides, while well kept lawns cover the valley bottom.
