I could not recommend Middleton House any more highly. The location is exceptional surrounded by a lovely, tranquil environment. The hosts could not have been more kind and welcoming. The room itself (I stayed in a single room) was clean, spacious, comfortable, and had an extraordinary view of the countryside. My only regret is I could not stay longer. If I am lucky to find myself in magnificent Shepton Mallet once again, I will not hesitate to stay at Middleton House.

Positives: Location, friendliness, cleanliness, and charm were second to none.

Negatives: The only caveat I have is that I was unable to get cold water for my morning shower. However, I am sure this was a rare event.
