It is the base for the very popular West Somerset Steam Railway running between the Sea front and Bishop's Lydiard close to Taunton. On the sea front visitors can choose between attractive old "Quay Town" with its working harbour and miles of sandy shoreline stretching to Dunster Beach and Blue Anchor Bay.
