The Old Spot ( Dining / Other ). Located at 12 Sadler Street, Wells, 2 miles from the center of Coxley. My wife Clare and I opened the Old Spot Restaurant in 2006 after having found what we knew was a great position in Wells, a historic cathedral city with a thriving market on the edge of the Mendip Hills, a very beautiful part of the world. We wanted to open a restaurant that reflected our own philosophy of serving good, simple seasonal food that was accessible to everybody, with a wine list and service to match.
