Hotel location was great. Staff was very attentive, helpful, and very nice. We really enjoyed our stay. We chose this hotel partly because of the pool and it had limited hours for children which were not good for us and it was shared with a gym so people were there to exercise and it was not ideal.

Positives: Hotel staff was very helpful and pleasant.

Negatives: The pool was shared with a fitness company and had limited hours for children.

Great location, just off of the train and bus lines. Very close to everything. Great service at the front desk and in the restaurant. The breakfast is awesome in the morning. The beds are a little small, but everything else is great. Nice flat screen TVs too.

The Waldorf Hilton is centrally located within the theater district. It is within walking distance of the British Museum and many other attractions. The hotel staff was very knowlegeable and helpful, recommending some great restaurants and theater options. The rooms were spacious and had all the amenities you would expect in a four star hotel: bathrobe and slippers, spa and health club, down comforter and bedding, premium bath products, and concierge service. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Positives: The hotel had a great location, the rooms were spacious, and the staff was extremely helpful. Good health club!

Negatives: No dislikes.

We were very pleased with the Waldorf Hilton. The location was walking distance to shops, restaurants, theaters and most attractions. The rooms were very modern with flat screen tv, floating sink, very comfortable beds.

Positives: The Waldorf Hilton was very modern, comfortable, clean and in a convenient location.

Negatives: Breakfast was too expensive and room doors close automatically so there was loud slamming sounds in the morning.

Stayed here for two nights during May - excellent location - walking distance to Covent Garden and theatre district. Downside for me was the lack of public areas in the hotel - expected such a famous hotel to have a huge reception and meeting area - it did have a seating area with windows where you could have a drink and watch the world go by, but I expected it to have a bit more of a buzz. The rooms themselves were quite compact but beautifully furnished - the beds and pillows must be the most comfortable in the world. Overall, not a bad choice but not a patch on Hiltons five star in Glasgow - where you can people watch all night with lots of public space and plenty of staff on hand at all times

Positives: This hotel truly has the most comfortable bed and pillows ever!!!

Negatives: Not enough space to sit and read and watch the world go by with a coffee

Marvelous chic ultra-modern (think "W") hotel in great Aldwych location. Fabulous service, location, and value. My current favorite central London Hotel, at almost any price.

Positives: Fabulous ultra-modern rooms, free internet, plasma tv, price

Negatives: steps in lobby (heavy suitcase), dirty windows

This is a very well located hotel which provides comfortable accomodations. Rooms are large, beds very good, linens are high quality. Rooms include a microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker. Bathrooms are large and well appointed.

Positives: Excellent amenities, linens and beds. Comfortable room, great location.

Negatives: Waited two hours for room, observed many others get theirs while I waited. Was told no rooms avail.

The Waldorf is perfect from the perspective of location -- right in the heart of the theater district, a short walk from Trafalgar Sq, Covent Garden, and the Inns of Court. The rooms were comparatively large and very well appointed. However, we were disappointed by the aloofness of the staff, most of whom seemed to be non-English speaking, the haphazard housekeeping, and the unimpressive public areas. Quite frankly, we expected a lot more from a hotel of this level. We were also inconvenienced by the continual false fire alarms -- 4 times one day! -- caused by the massive remolding that was the hotel was undergoing, and the famous Palm Court restaurant was closed the entire 10 days we were there. There was a breakfast buffet served, but at US$45 a person we felt it to be exorbitant.

Positives: The location was terrific - walking distance to Covent Garden, shops, restaurants, etc.

Negatives: Expected friendlier staff and nicer public areas from a hotel of this level.

This hotel is a great chice if you are interested in going to West End theaters, and also is close to Covent Garden and the National Gallery in Trafalgar Square. The hotel rooms are very nice, and are contemporary with flat screen televisions. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Very nice health club with pool in the basement.

Positives: Great location and nicely appointed rooms and public areas.

Negatives: Hotel breakfasts are very expensive.

Our overall experience was fantastic. This was a great hotel; however, I would not recommend eating at the hotel due to the outrageous prices.
