The Grosvesnor House was a fabulous hotel. Very luxurious. the room was spacious. The bathroom was amazing and the bed was very comfortable. We had plenty of closet space. The staff was very nice and helpful. The lobby was very attractive and we enjoyed the bar and room service, although both were somewhat expensive.

Positives: Historic, but modern amenities; could open the windows and get fresh air; beautiful bath.

Negatives: Could have had less expensive food options; could have been closer to Soho, Covent Garden.

This is a great hotel to stay in. Service was good and the people polite. The only downside was no wifi in the room. For a 5 star hotel, Ii don't think its acceptable...

Positives: Location was great.

Negatives: No wifi in hotel rooms, its 2010!!

The Grosvenor House Hotel is a modern grand old hotel with outrageously expensive eating spaces, internet access, and no coffee maker or frig in the room.

Positives: Very helpful staff.

Negatives: Very expensive internet access which is free elsewhere.

Really enjoyed the stay. Room was comfortable and attractively decorated (although bed was beginning to show some wear), staff was excellent, restaurants (cafe, tea room, and full-service) appealed to variety of dining needs and levels.

Positives: Loved the room and price. Location was safe, near Hyde Park and Underground.

Negatives: Cost of broadband was too high.

A couple of poor communications from the staff (didn't phone when room was ready when they had said they would, accidentally wrote down the room number on our card so we went to an occupied room), however, their recovery was top class. Straight away (with no need to escalate to a manager) upgrade to a suite!

Positives: Tremendous upgrade policy.

Negatives: Poor communication between staff.

Overall our stay was nice. They seem to nickel and dime you for everything they can. Internet is 20 GBP a day! They also wanted a 100 GBP/night deposit. I knew they needed a credit card a check-in, but it would have been nice to know they wanted this much credit available.

Positives: Afternoon tea.

Negatives: Nickel and dime for everything.

Very clean and friendly. The entire staff was very helpful. The food, which we did not eat was way over priced. $50 for breakfast, just plain regular eats, nothing special. Beer, tea and coffee very expensive. Many places in the area to get a great deal on eating. Great area, right outside Hyde Park. Very safe.

Positives: The white sheets and towels.

Negatives: The food prices.

Positives: The bathrooms and location.

Very classy and expensive hotel. Hotel staff did not know English enough to be understood, so I never knew I had to call room service to get a simple cup of tea.

Positives: Close to the tube, Hyde Park and major roads.

Negatives: Address given doesn't send you to the correct entrance on Park Street and GPS sends you to another street.
