This is our second stay at this hotel. The first time the room was twice the size and the temperature was perfect. This room was a little on the small side and stuffy. The windows wouldn't open either. But overall this is a very nice hotel.
Positives: Extremely comfortable bed and pillows and good shower.
Negatives: Room was very small and too hot.

Great location and not quite 5 by European or US standards. The hotel entrance is literally steps from the Marble Arch Tube station, perfect location. The rooms were well appointed, the maid service was excellent and the hotel was very clean. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Positives: Convenient location and very close to a Tube station and Oxford St.
Negatives: 50 GBP upgrade just for access to the business lounge and not really worth it.

Overall the hotel was a good deal for the price. It didn't seem to be quite at the 5 star level but we were happy with our rate, the room and the location. The restaurant was very expensive. The staff was very helpful and accommodating.
Positives: Location was great. Right by Oxford Street and near a Tube station.
Negatives: Needs to be updated for being a 5 star.

Solid four star hotel with a great location, the hotel primarily caters to business travelers. It has a wonderfully central location.
Positives: Great personalities.
Negatives: Very corporate, charged for internet.

When in a busy town like London, it is really great to be able to come to a quiet place after a day in the rush. If only they could do sth about the ticking noise that came out of the airco (5th floor room). It woke us up teh first night; We swtched it off but then it got realy hot in the rooms. (weather was exceptionally hot when we were there).
Positives: Excellent location, no sounds from outside to be heard while at very busy streets.
Negatives: Ticking noise from airco woke us up at night, room got hot without airco.

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel is clean, comfortable with great bedding and in a great location, across from the park and on the main shopping street. It is also next to an underground stop and within walking distance to many places, we enjoyed the 30 minute walk to the theater in the evenings.
Positives: Wonderful tea/coffee/hot chocolate in selection in room.
Negatives: The public spaces were small, small lobby and there were too many pillows near the elevator seating to actually sit or wait for somebody.

Incredibly friendly staff, went far out of their way to make sure I was happy. The room was spacious, far bigger than any room I have ever stayed in London.
Positives: Staff was extremely friendly... went far out of there way to make sure I was happy.
Negatives: This was the rare time I could not think of anything I did not like.

You must stay at the Marriott Park Lane. I have been to London many times and this hotel and staff go beyond their duty to make your stay enjoyable. The best stay in London ever. The location is convenient for the tube (Marble Arch).
Positives: Service, room, gym, pool were all what I expect. Did not disappoint!
Negatives: Everything was great!

Customer relations not good. Also, the upgrade to executive was overpriced. Aside from that, the room was small and comfortable. Room service was scary expensive (22 pounds for breakfast - $44 - that pubs charge $8-10) and so not really an option. Concierge and bell hops were great. Best I've had in any hotel.
Positives: Very comfortable bed, great concierge, quiet room.
Negatives: Very expensive room service, crabby managers, location just ok.

Excellent location for touring or business. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Beautiful and spacious facilities.
Positives: Excellent location for touring or business. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Beautiful and spacious facilities.
Negatives: No free computer terminal for online check-in for flights. Had to use the business center or concierge -- neither free.

Fabulous hotel. Anyone would want to stay there. We were thrilled. The room is huge for Europe--even for North America. Great value and pure luxury.
Positives: Huge bedroom and bathroom, great sheets and pillows, mirrors everywhere, phone in bathroom, excellent service.
Negatives: The shower with a half curtain/half gate only and no bathtub.

Located just right off the metro near the Marble Arch so it is very convenient to get anywhere in the city. Staff are extremely friendly with excellent service. However, not many free amenities are included in the price such as Internet or breakfast.
Positives: Extremely clean and friendly staff.
Negatives: No free Internet access.

I don't think the doorman should have to go find someone to work the front desk. When I am checking in after 4 pm I expect there to be a room available and not have to wait 30 minutes. I don't like having to tell staff repeatedly I don't want to wait in the cafe where they can forget about me. I don't want to listen to staff discussing their problems with their job while I am waiting. I don't like having an opinion survey placed on my pillow every night. I like to get wakeup calls I ask for. Never found a hair dryer but had a wooden box with a shoe bag on my bed every night.
Positives: Room was quiet.
Negatives: Not customer oriented.

I was very pleased with the hotel. The staff was great. I loved the personal wake-up calls. Great location, nice pool, great large flat panel TV. Near great restaurants. There isn't anything that was disappointing worth mentioning. I wish they had a sauna. For my travel and business needs, this was perfect. I hope come back frequently.
Positives: Great room, pool, location and staff.
Negatives: No sauna or steam room, need more light in room.
