Jack Rabbit ( / British ). Located at 8-9 Howeson Lane, Plymouth, 3 miles from the center of Bickleigh. The Jack Rabbit sits on the old road from Plymouth to Tavistock , near to the towns of Derriford and Crownhill. The Fort at Crownhill is the best preserved of Lord Palmerston's Ring of Fire which surrounded Plymouth in Victorian times, protecting the Royal Dockyard at Devonport from French attack and bombardment.
