Brasserie At The Castle And Ball Hotel ( Dining / Other ). The Castle and Ball Hotel Marlborough sits in the historic Wiltshire market town of Marlborough with easy access from the M4 via the A346. The Castle & Ball Hotel is an historic coaching inn dating from 15th century, situated in the centre of Britain's widest high street that of Malborough. It occupies a site which has had an inn standing on it since the 15th century.
The hotel dates back to the Spanish Armada. From 1745 to 1763 it was called the Antelope and was renamed . Some of the hotel's surviving original oak timbers pre-dates the Spanish Armada.
