Red Lion Freehouse

Red Lion Freehouse ( Dining / Other ). We are most proud of how much of our food we do, in fact, make. If it is possible and feasible, we will make it in-house. An example, you ask? An outstanding illustration is a simple sandwich. A Red Lion sandwich starts with our own bread- sourdough made from a 2-year-old starter developed from the natural yeasts found here in East Chisenbury. To smother on that we have successfully perfected a number of condiments - ketchup, mayonnaise, chutney, dressing, horseradish!! Tomato and lettuce? . .Grown in our green house. But what about the meats? We cure, smoke, hang & roast almost all of our own meats and charcuterie. The result is a delicious sandwich that actually is home-made. www.redlionfreehouse.com Link
