Winterbourne Cottage reviews

What was Winterbourne Cottage previously known as?

The following details are from previous listings for the same address. This is for information only and should not be considered up to date or representitive of the current property.

As The Old Coach House

A lot of thought and care has gone into the conversion of this old stone coach house, graded 3 star by Visit Britain, which stands near the top of Tisbury's attractive village High Street.

The accommodation has a particularly attractive and spacious 1st floor beamed sitting/dining room, where a bay window has been constructed to make the most of the lovely views over the Nadder Valley. For the elderly or disabled, a stair lift is available to allow access upstairs from the ground floor double bedroom.

As The Coach House

Standing in the grounds of a larger cottage, yet far enough away from it to ensure privacy and seclusion for its guests, The Coach House has been expertly planned and converted by its architect owner, providing accommodation which combines traditional materials - reclaimed pine floors, exposed beams and planked doors - with the more essential requirements of contemporary living

As Millers Barn

This oak timber clad building is situated in the garden of an 18th century house, a quarter of a mile down a 'no through lane' which takes you from the village of Stratford-sub-Castle across water meadows to the River Avon. The village is 2 miles north of the historic cathedral city of Salisbury - there are distant views to the cathedral from the barn - and at the beginning of the beautiful Woodford Valley.

As Drovers' Barn

Situated along a country lane, on the edge of the village of Shrewton, Drovers' Barn looks out onto an idyllic 2 acre garden by the River Till, which is shared only with the owners, whose thatched cottage is some 20 yards away.

The location offers visitors a very central touring base, with easy access to the A303 (1½ miles away), making London 1 ½ - 2 hours' drive. Wiltshire's most famous pre-historic sites, Stonehenge and Avebury, the cathedral city of Salisbury and the World Heritage city of Bath are all within easy driving distance.
