Situated half way along the unspoilt Chalke Valley, which follows the River Ebble on its journey to the cathedral city of Salisbury, 7 miles away, Staddle Barn, graded 4 stars by Visit Britain, is part of a stunning barn conversion in the picturesque village of Broadchalke, which lies within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The surrounding scenery is particularly renowned and there are walks from the cottage door across the ownerâs field to The River Ebble. The chalk downland and old Ox Drove above the village also offer wonderful walking and thereâs good cycling along the Wiltshire Cycleway along the valley. The owners offer 200 yards of fishing (small brown trout) on one bank of the river.
