Cheney Thatch
Bishopstone, Wiltshire
Cheney Thatch is a bed & breakfast located in Bishopstone.
We run a beautiful, 400-year-old thatched cottage in a unique setting on the Wiltshire downs. Cheney Thatch is a multi-award-winning B & B of which we are extremely proud. Many of our guests return year-on-year, enjoying the peace and quiet we can provide, 300 metres off the road through the picturesque village.
The village is approximately 4 miles from the M4 motorway, enabling easy access to access to many world heritage sites, such as Stonehenge and Avebury.
We are also situated between the cities of Bristol and Bath to the west and Oxford to the east, each less than an hour away by road and rail. Europe's oldest road, the Ridgway trail, passes close to the village, making us a welcome stop for walkers from all over the world.
Nearby restaurants include The Burj, King & Queen Inn, The New Calley Arms, and Raffles Restaurant.
