This is payable at the hotel or complimentary in Executive DL2 rooms. Please find our Childrens Policy. A child is between 4 and 15. Under 4, no charge. Children sharing adults room pay for food as taken. Children in their own room pay 50 percent of the adult rate. Midweek, the same rules apply with adult paying single supp if applicable.
The hotel has completed a 50K refurbishment of the bar area including full redecoration, new carpet and furniture and enhanced lighting giving a very modern look with additional plug sockets for lap top use added to BT. Openzone makes this an even more desirable location than it was before the refurb, offering comfortable surroundings which have already generated excellent feedback from all of our guests. The Arts restaurant has also had a refurbishment with a new carpet, redecoration and improved lighting making a cozier and more welcoming place to sit. Please be aware that on Friday 2nd, Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th January 2009 our kitchen is closed for essential maintenance.
The hotel will not be able to offer any food including breakfast, but continental breakfast will be available.

Room and hotel generally was sub-standard - not particularly clean and tiny room.
Positives: Check-out by 12.
Negatives: Room was extremely hot and radiators could not be turned off. Generally cleanliness not very good.

The online booking indicated a non smoking room would be reserved, but Reception at the hotel said that it was not possible to reserve a non smoking room, and automatically booked me into a smoking room.<br> The walls and ceiling in the room had water damage, and the trouser press did not work. I could hear every sound made in the adjoining room, and we were woken early by the noise from reception.Genrally the whole hotel is in need of refurbishment.
