Sailing as a relaxing pastime as we know it today was begun in Chichester Harbour by Charles 11 (1630-1635) it was he who introduced the first leisure sailing craft into this countries waters; beginners can learn, experienced sailors can crew or hire and those with their own craft can launch. Surfing-wind surfing-kite sailing-canoeing-scuba diving even just swimming are only minutes away; many of our guests just come to relax and fish.

Our French neighbours across the channel regularly visit to our beaches. Transport via our local buses are close by as are local hire shops for both bicycles and other sea equipment.
