Hillmorton is a suburb of Rugby, Warwickshire, around 2 miles (3.2 km) south-east of Rugby town centre, forming much of the eastern half of the town. It is also a ward of the Borough of Rugby. Hillmorton was historically a village in its own right, but was incorporated into Rugby in 1932. Hillmorton also encompasses the Paddox housing estate to the west of the old village, which is shown on many maps as 'Hillmorton Paddox', this area however is part of a separate ward called 'Paddox'. It will re-open on Saturday 5th September 2009.** Originally an old Victorian house, now tastefully converted to a three star hotel. The hotel is midway through a refurbishment program, taking it from a traditional family run hotel to a more modern contemporary boutique style. All public areas have been refurbished. Our next stage is to update the bedrooms to the same style. The hotel has excellent leisure facilities including an indoor swimming pool, spa, hydrotherapy spa, gym, sauna and beauty treatment rooms. The hotel has three well equipped conference rooms, as well as a civil ceremony license ideal for those wishing to marry and enjoy their wedding day and evening all under one roof. For those who wish to indulge the restaurant JS at 636 offers a wide range of elected cuisine from traditional to modern, using seasonal fresh produce where possible.
