Photograph of Theobalds, Ixworth
Theobalds

Theobalds ( Dining / Other ). Located at 68 High Street, Ixworth, 2 miles from the center of Bardwell. The property lends itself perfectly to a restaurant setting with it's abundance of beams and comfortable lounge where guests may relax with a pre-dinner drink or after-dinner coffee. With small intimate areas created by exposed timbers, it is ideal for a business lunch or dinner and for that special occasion. For weddings, birthday parties and anniversaries we are able to seat parties of 10 - 18 people on a square table in our new dining area, or up to 50 people in the whole restaurant. www.theobaldsrestaurant.co.uk Link

Leaping Hare ( Dining / Other ). Once occupied by Romans and recorded in Doomesday, the ancient estate of Wyken is quintessential Suffolk: country lanes, hedgerows, patchwork fields and woodlands. Wyken is a 1200-acre farm which includes a flock of Shetland sheep, a small herd of Red Poll cattle and a 7-acre vineyard producing award-winning wines, including the English Wine of the Year. In 2009 our 'Wyken Bacchus' won the East Anglian Wine of the Year. www.wykenvineyards.co.uk Link
