Sykes House B&b & Tearoom ( / Cafe ). Situated in the heart of the traditional village of Askrigg, Sykes’s House is thought to have been built around 1687 and can be found opposite the beautiful 15th century church of St Oswald’s. The history of the village is further evident with the presence of the cobbled market place with its market cross and the village water pump all visible from Sykes House.
