OK. Would probably use again and request a different room if weather unusually cold! Liked the proximity to town and certain quirkiness of accommodation. Price fair under the cirmcumstances.
Positives: Close to town. Breakfast meal. Pleasant reception area.
Negatives: Room cold and noisy. Mug/spoon not properly cleaned after first night. No biscuits Day 2!

no problem with any of my stay. All v.g.
Positives: warm, clean, excellent breakfast, nice staff.
Negatives: rubbish directions on Active e-mail booking confirmation. Totally wrong!!Told hotel.

Overall rather pricey given the facilities. All four of us had a poor nights sleep, as the age of the building meant that you could hear every adjacent guest's movements. Soundproofing needed desperately!!
Positives: Friendly staff. Good breakfast
Negatives: Extremely creaky. No sleep after people started waking and moving around. Bar closes too early.

No real comment except as above. Everything was as we expected so no complaints at all.
Positives: Location, friendliness and helpfulness of staff. Did not eat there, except breakfast which was good.
Negatives: Room was quite small but adequate for one night stay (or short stay)
