Not for families. Everything in the room was based around only 1 or two and not for a family i.e. not enough soap, cups, etc. Room was not clean, with dirty handprint on mirror for the whole 5 days of our stay, plus rubbish behind the desk. Breakfast was not included nor was the car parking. Staff were surly and it took 3 attempts to get a working remote for the TV (which does not work without it). Overall I was very disappointed with the hotel and it spoilt an otherwise very enjoyable holiday in Liverpool.
Positives: Location and the city.
Negatives: Poor Service, does not cater for families and rooms not clean.

This is a wonderful hotel in a great spot right at the waterfront next door to the Three Graces (wikipedia them). From here you'll have no trouble enjoying the waterfront developments, the fun and artsy Albert Docks, the Mersey river, the great Downtown shopping and the many local pubs. We didn't know what to expect in Liverpool, but this hotel made our trip a success.
Positives: The location is right next to Albert Docks and the developments on the Mersey.
Negatives: Weird hot/cold tub. Not terribly relaxing.
