The staff are surprised at two women saying in a double room, from the receptionists to the woman who asked are room when checking in for breakfast. We've stayed here twice, the first time wasn't so alienating and because the room was very nice quite romantic. After the staff was writing Mr. when taking our details each visit (once for me and once for my girlfriend), despite that we are both very obviously female, we won't stay again. They're more confused/curious/embarrassed by it.
Positives: Romantic, good breakfast.
Negatives: Not friendly. Very nice if you're straight.

Negatives: Room was very small even for a single. Do people in single rooms have smaller eyes - small tv set !
