We are located a mile from Leeds Castle, several miles outside Maidstone, Kent, in a quiet country lane that is within easy reach of the M20, about 40 minutes from the ferries at Dover and Folkstone.

The property was built in 1888 and was a residence for a blacksmith; some of the workings are still in evidence. The surrounding countryside is typical of The Garden of Kent, which is known for its soft fruit farms and, previously, hops, with many well preserved oast houses nearby.

Nearby restaurants include The Potting Shed, The Windmill, The Oak On The Green, and The Kings Head.
