We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Ramada. The hotel is well kept and staff friendly. I was very disappointed that the leisure centre was closed on the Sunday of our stay as I was looking forward to a swim and jacuzzi after breakfast and the notification on the television that it was closed at 9am was too early!!! It woke us both up!
Positives: Room was decorated very well and nice lighting. Great mirrors!
Negatives: Leisure centre closed too early in evenings and was closed on the Sunday

I expected more from a Jarvis.<br> The room service food was not worth the 14 pounds. the chips were not fully cooked and the pasta was dry. i booked a non smoking room - found ashtrays in it. <br> Not the hotels fault (coach party arrived) but i stood for ten minutes at reception while waiting to be seen. i was asked twice if i was being seen to and when i replyed that i had not they went on to someone else.<br> The floor creaked in the hotel room. the television did a wierd thing - kept switching itself on so i had to unplug it!<br> all in all i would expected this level of service from a '12 b+b not a '50 per room with no Breakfast (even though i did book it on the web).<br> <br> I was pressed for time otherwise i would have complained at the hotel.<br> <br> My room number was 432 at the RJ Watford.<br> <br> oh and regarding the cleanliness and order of the hotel. lovely from the inside. walk to your room however you have to go past an asault course of cleaning equipment - battered tables and bags of towels in the corridor.<br> <br> Really poor actually.<br> <br> I will never come back here again - more then likely never use Jarvis again.

I have been staying in a few local hotels trying to find a decent one. I have found it now.
Positives: The studio room was superb. I have rebooked.
