Durley is a village and civil parish in the City of Winchester district of Hampshire. It is located approximately 7½ miles (12.1 km) northeast of Southampton and has a population of around 992. The village is home to two pubs, The Robin Hood Inn and the Farmers Home. Both of the pubs have a rich history dating back till the nineteenth century. Durley is home to one school, Durley CE Primary. Which is home to approximately 130 pupils ranging from four to eleven years of age. The village also has one pre-school called Durley Ladybirds. Brigadier Gerrard ( Dining / Pubs / Bars ). Located in Horton Heath, we are open for lunch and dinner with an extensive menu of delicious food. As well as a welcoming bar area and separate restaurant, we also have a large beer garden and host barbecues in the summer, weather permitting. We host numerous events including weekly charity quiz night, the funds from which are donated to our local Community Responders and Fresh Fish Fridays. In addition, our pub is available for private hire and we frequently host parties and other more formal events.
