When we arrived at the hotel, surprisingly the room was ready for us although we arrived early. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The room was clean every day. This was a great start to our vacation and set us on the right foot. If we were to travel to London again, which we plan to do, we would definitely stay there.

Positives: We liked the location most of all and the hotel staff. The room was comfortable and what we expected.

Negatives: I would have like a piano bar for the evenings.

Great hotel in a great location for theatre-goers. Just a tiny bit too modern for my taste but still a great hotel and location.

Positives: The complimentary foot soother was fabulous!

Negatives: A little too modern and sterile for our taste.

It's nice if they can get their service up to 4 star standards (speed and efficiency). The check in area is a bit bizarre in its location - very unconventional. But overall it was modern, rooms nicely appointed and great location.

Positives: Tastefully decorated. Modern and hip.

Negatives: Although staff were friendly, the service was slow. Had to wait for room, bellman bags delivery and food delivery.

The Trafalgar is located in Central London. In the eyes of many it is the perfect location for a deluxe 4 star hotel. Within walking distance one can reach Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park, Leicester Square, National Galleria Museum, City Bus Tours etc. This is a good hotel and I recommend it.

Positives: Convenient, friendly.

Negatives: The shower which we reported and did not get fixed and the bed was hard.

Great location with clean modern rooms and a very friendly and helpful staff who went out of their way to assist in any way possible. Best recommendation I can give is my wife and I hope to return to this hotel on our next visit to London.

Positives: Friendly and helpful staff, clean and great location.

Negatives: Cost of breakfast was quite high.

The Trafalgar is funky, fun, and friendly. We'd recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, upscale hotel in the center of London. The rooms are beautifully appointed. Though it's more of a party hotel than a kids' hotel, the staff were lovely, and we didn't feel out of place with our 20 month old daughter.

Positives: From night lights that lit only the book I was reading, to full size bottles of shampoo and body wash our hotel room was filled with thoughtful extras.

Negatives: There needs to be a door between the WCs and the rooms on the 6th floor. We could hear people partying on the roof garden late at night.

Although the check in desk could easily be confused with part of the restaurant, once we found it, the staff were very nice, indeed. When we came back from shopping we found a birthday gift of a chilling bottle of chardonnay waiting for me.

Positives: Great location, very welcoming staff.

Negatives: Paint chipped and cigarette burns in our room.

This hotel has an ideal location near theatre, stores, and internet. Next on Trafalgar square. The rooms are nicely decorated, good beds, comfortable. However, passing through the lobby and waiting for elevators, one must endure very loud music all evening as the man floor has a do and large bar/lounge area.

Positives: The room was very nice, bed great, location exceptional.

Negatives: Almost all of main floor is a do with loud music at night, reception a small corner, once in elevator all was ok.

Hotel was a great location--could walk easily to all of the major sites in London. It was very modern in design, so basic and minimal, with odd lighting schemes. Staff was very friendly. Had a very busy restaurant/bar area. No hair dryer in room. Overall a nice hotel, but geared towards a younger audience.

Positives: Excellent location and friendly and helpful staff.

Negatives: Extremely modern design, no real lobby area.

This is the 2nd time in 2 months that I stayed at the hotel. The hotel staff I met on this trip was much more pleasant and helpful than compared to the previous trip. However, the bed I had on this trip was so lumpy that I could not get any sleep. The location is fantastic for sightseeing - right across from the Trafalgar square.

Positives: Excellent location for sightseeing in London.

Negatives: The bed is so lumpy that I could not get any sleep.

Overall, this is a good hotel in a good location. Staff was friendly and very helpful. The rooms are brand new and very modern in design. I loved our room, but don't go if you're expecting sumptuous Victorian furnishings. The minimalist front desk is literally located in the hotel bar, which pumps out music that's often too loud.

Positives: New, modern room designs & very helpful staff.

Negatives: Front desk is literally located in the hotel bar.

Super location ; clean attractive room; attentive helpful staff; minimal lobby; much focus on lounge/bar operation but this did not impinge on other ( business-tourist- )guests. I would happily stay there again.

Positives: Clean attractive room; friendly helpful staff; super location.

Negatives: Lobby area minimal; hotel appears to concentrate much effort on lounge/bar operation.

Pro: the location of the hotel is fantastic - right in the center of all major attractions. On: (1) the standard room we got is adequate. However, the window faces directly to an office building across (5 ft away in distance) so we did not feel comfortable opening drapes during the day. (2) One check-in/out staff has a real Nasty attitude. Refused to lend us an umbrella during our stay when it was pouring outside and upon check-out she told us we were "being difficult" when we were merely inquiring about an item on the bill.

Positives: The location is superb!

Negatives: The check-in/out staff has very Nasty attitude.

This well-located, stylish hotel is my new favorite in London. It's expensive, but the rooms are amazing, the staff extraordinarily nice, and the location is perfect. Don't stay here if you're looking for a conventional business hotel- the vibe is cool/modern, there's not even a conventional front desk. But I love it.

Positives: Incredibly cool, luxurious, friendly hotel in an amazing location.

Negatives: Nothing. Seriously, fantastic hotel.

Great location, very hip hotel aimed at a younger set. The staff was pleasant. I have stayed at numerous hotels in London, mostly 5 stars however I felt that this hotel was well worth the price.

Positives: Loved the location, the staff were pleasant and professional.

Negatives: The carpets in the hallway had a weird smell, perhaps they were recently cleaned.

I was pleasantly surprised by this nice hotel right off of Trafalgar Square. It's very convenient to tourist attractions and the theater The bed could have been of better quality, but the hotel on the whole was really quite fantastic. Recommended.

Positives: Lots of space, rooftop terrace, nice tub/shower.

Negatives: Weird front desk, awful elevators, pay for Internet access.
