The hotel itself was as expected in terms of service and comfort. There was no free shuttle bus as advertised unless you wanted to walk 10 min in sub zero temps.It cost 20 pounds per day to go to and from the hotel to the airport to get the underground.

Negatives: The TV and outlets needed service technician.

Very disappointed with this hotel. First, the positive points are that it is located near the airport and the common areas, such as lobby and restaurants are nice.

For a five star hotel I was surprised to sleep in a bed the was so beat up. The bed was higher by my feet and the middle of the bed was lowered like someone very big had slept in it for years. I did not sleep well but all other amenities were great.

Positives: Free Wi-Fi.

Negatives: The condition of the mattress was awful.

If you need a night close to the airport, this is a fine point. If you are looking for more than that, I would not recommend.

This hotel is definitely not 4-star. It is probably a 2.5. Very old. Towels are tiny and Motel 6 quality. Rusting out tub, old furnishings, old TV, not cleanly. Overall, this is a pretty rough place. Internet is 15 pounds a day which is almost 25 bucks.

Positives: Near airport.

Negatives: Dirty, not 4-star, old, dingy.

Excellent hotel for those business travelers who need a good night sleep. The shuttle to hotel is 4 pounds one way and sometime you have to wait for it for 30-mins.

Good location for arriving/departing London area. Rooms very nice and staff especially helpful. Soundproofing quality of rooms is very good; I couldn't hear any planes taking off or landing.

If you need a place to sleep that is convenient to the airport, this is the place. It was extremely frustrating as nothing in the hotel worked. There was no ice machines or soda vending machines. When we tried to order room service, the phone would just ring and ring and ring. We had to call numerous times in order to get in touch with someone. When we called the lobby, they were quite snobby. We were also brought a bottle of coke with broken glass at the rim.

Positives: It was convenient to the airport.

Negatives: Nothing worked - not the US power, not the room phone and certainly not the pay phone in the lobby.

Old hotel, but decently maintained. Mobile reception is very poor in several parts of the hotel. Internet Lounge (45 Min's free) is good and well equipped with high speed link and computers.

Positives: Good location, just 10 minutes drive from the LHR Airport. Good Internet Lounge (45 Min's free) in the reception.

Negatives: Decor is getting old. Reaching to your room from hotel reception can be a decent 4-5 minutes walk. Mobile Signals are poor in several parts hotel.

I would never stay here again. I'm also becoming concerned about Priceline.

Positives: The location was excellent, but there was no trolley to terminal 3.

Negatives: The very dark room overlooking a filthy alley. I could hardly wait for the night to be over so I could get out of there.

Overall, a great place to stay for a transit through LHR. The hotel is starting to show its age, however.

We stayed here the night before and we returned home to the US. By sheer luck, we found that the Thrift rental desk is located in the lobby of the Sheraton Heathrow. Made for an easy return and a free ride to the terminal. Great for a short stay, the lobby is old and needs an overhaul. Many of the rooms were being renovated, but they stopped all construction at night and we had a quiet and relaxed stay in the hotel.

For travelers who only need to crash for a night between LHR flights, this hotel is great! There's a free bus that goes within a block of the hotel. If you spend much more, or have high expectations, you're likely to be disappointed. Beware: The hotel is very remote and isolated. Buy some fruit, cheese and a bottle of wine before you arrive.

Positives: This is a great place if you need to stay for a connecting flight at LHR. The free bus system takes you to within a block.

Negatives: Drab, aging hotel in isolated setting.

The most redeeming thing about this hotel is its proximity to London Heathrow airport. Room is adequate, shared space could use a major uplift. If you need to stay overnight near Heathrow, I would recommend staying here.

Conveniently located, good reception staff, and a clean, light room. However, room service took a long time to provide missing bathroom necessities.

Positives: The room was light and spacious. It was very clean.

Negatives: There was no soap and no shower gel in the bathroom. These took a long time to arrive when requested.
