Great hotel! Have stayed at Marriott Resort Props. Over the world & this was a great one. The location was phenomenal for London sites (Parliament, Westminster Abbey, The Eye, and Buckingham Palace). We walked all over. The concierge was perfect - he found us a great Pub, fabulous Indian food, and, when we needed souvenirs at Midnight, he found us those, too...We were only planning to stay here our last night, but decided to return to London early. This hotel was able to provide us an extra night with no hustles! The room itself was much larger than I expected & had room for a sitting area (magazines included) & desk area, along with the beds. Linens were clean & fresh; bathroom amenities were high end. Bath robes, slippers and tea/hot cocoa were gratis. The cash bar items were similar in price to the other hotels we stayed during our visit throughout England. Our 7 year old son was welcomed & treated well here, too. We will definitely stay here again.

Positives: Loved this hotel! Pool was great. Bed was comfortable. Location was central to historic sites. Great staff.

Negatives: Long walk to room from elevator.

Excellent location, large rooms, and the hotel restaurant was wonderful. There's a beautiful pool but children may only use it from 9 until 7. The workout facilities are robust. There are not too many restaurants near the hotel.

Positives: Excellent location near Big Ben, lovely large room.

Negatives: Pool was not open to children after 7 pm.

It was a great hotel in one of the most expensive cities in the world. The rooms are ample, new, well decorated and with a view of the Thames.

Perfectly located hotel in the heart of London next to the London Eye and across the Thames from Big Ben, Westminster Abbey and houses of Parliament.

The staff tried hard to please, but not very attentive in general. Long hall from side door to the reception and long hallway to get to rooms. Lingering cigarette smoke smell in a non smoking room in a non smoking hotel! Overall, short walk to the train station and to the tube with great view of the big ben across the river Thames.

Positives: Great view and location. Nice pool and health club.

Negatives: Smoking smell in the guest room, long walk to room.

I would not recommend this hotel. It's not worth the money. I would try Ritz or Hilton next time. Staff got to learn being courteous and friendly.

Positives: Location. Near to Waterloo Pier, Train Station and Underground, Parliament, London Eye.

Negatives: Staff don't think customer matters. They make u feel like u are staying at local motel.

Very pleased with all things related to this hotel. Convenient to get to and a beautiful area of London. The Westminster Abby, the Tate Modern Gallery, the Eye, London aquarium and many other attractions are right there including a nice boardwalk along the river. It was close to the Waterloo Subway with connections at Victoria station to the Gatwick Express train to the airport. Was very happy with this as did not want to hire a car. A great way to spend three days in London.

Positives: The location was the best. You could walk to a great number of the attractions along the river and the scenery of Big Ben from the window was great.

Negatives: Construction at the main entrance which I assume will be over soon.

Located across from Big Ben in a historic building, this hotel felt dark and confining. Rooms are as far from the elevator as 1/8 mile of long circuitous corridors. View windows on the Thames were so high one could not fully enjoy the scene. The concierge was often engaged in conversation with other hotel employees and the night concierge was of no help at all. Reception personnel were helpful but somewhat snooty. Our final bill was all wrong, with charges we didn't make and the charges we did make were not on it. Construction made it necessary to enter through a back way that was dark, dreary and, frankly, scary. I would not stay there again nor would I recommend it to anyone.

Positives: Cleanliness.

Negatives: Bag handlers and greeters always chatting with one another.

5,300,000 square feet of building. Great location where we were looking at the London Eye. But several hundred yards from the entrance of the hotel to our low numbered room. A major walk after walking London. But great in most other ways. Beds very comfortable and very quiet!

Positives: Location was good and bad, Busy during day.

Negatives: Too quiet at night. No dining around.

We enjoyed our stay immensely. The location was wonderful right between two tubes. Loads of attractions within walking distances and everything else was a quick tube ride away. The hotel was beautiful and great location and amenities. Staff was friendly and very attentive. This was our first time to London.

Positives: Location! Beautiful views. Wonderful Hotel.

Negatives: Restaurant was expensive but food was only ok.

It was impossible to simply go out of the building for a quick stroll. The main lobby and registration were a long distance from the back of the hotel.

Positives: The rooms were large, attractive, and the staff was tremendously professional.

Negatives: It took forever to get to our room. The front entrance has been closed for several months because of repairs (leak, etc.)

The hotel was wildly overpriced. The rooms were adequate but the hairdryer didn't work and I received little satisfaction when I complained about it. The front desk staff told me that such problems are common in most hotels! I am 60 years old. I have traveled to 56 countries in my long work career and I am told by a 23 year old that this" is quite common in many hotels!". The concierge was, I must admit, excellent! A two star Holiday Inn in Omaho would be my choice over this hotel.

Positives: The room was clean.

Negatives: It was old, remote to a tube and wildly overpriced.

Likely the best hotel I have ever stayed in - very luxurious and comfortable rooms in the heart of London. Our room looked over the River Thames and was larger then most North American rooms - unbelievable for London.

Positives: Great location and beautiful spacious hotel rooms.

This was a great hotel (with reasonably sized rooms), a wonderful pool, workout rooms, and spa. It is next to the London Eye, Aquarium, Parliament, and the Tate Modern.

Positives: Great room, spa, and location.

Negatives: Concierge was friendly, but not real helpful.
