Everything was OK, quite an appropriate choice among London hotels.

Positives: Location , value for money (via Priceline).

Negatives: Internet is not for free.

Quiet, secure, comfortable, well appointed friendly and very helpful staff, allowed us early arrival with no charge.

Positives: Location, close to Subway, stores and parks.

Was not a 4 star hotel by US standards. Rooms were clean, but the furniture was shoddy and beat up. Staff was not congenial and never acknowledged you upon entering or exiting. Location is the only thing this hotel has going for it.

Positives: Great location for sights.

Negatives: Rooms need to be upgraded, lousy furniture, drains didn't work in bathroom.

The room was outdated, smelled musty, the wall had red stains, towel warmer didn't work, smelled musty in bathroom, internet was wired and 17 pounds per day. For the star classification and the location and the price paid, I expected better. At least a smell-free room with clean carpet. I refused to walk barefoot on the room carpet.

Positives: The AC worked fairly well, bed was comfortable.

Negatives: The room was outdated, smelled musty, wall stains, towel warmer didn't work, smell in bathroom, internet was wired and 17 pounds per day.

This hotel met our expectations. It was clean and the staff was friendly. The room was a comfortable size with a small table and chairs as well as a desk.

Positives: The location and ease to get to from the airport.

Negatives: Price of the drinks at the bar.

The location of this hotel is great. Very close to the underground and walking distance to Piccadilly. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The beds are very comfortable. It is well worth the money.

This was a pleasant hotel, with a friendly and helpful staff, the room was clean and a good size, the best feature for us was the great location to shops, eating places, Transite and theaters. You have a direct route to the airport.

Positives: Excellent location for shops, theater and Transite.

Negatives: Some elevators not working because of needed updates.

Bathrooms need updating - stains on ceiling and rug - burn marks on bedspread (this was a nonsmoking room).

Dated hotel, could use some new furnishing. Lots of noise at 4:30 am, construction of buildings nearby so area is in upheaval.

Great location in the heart of Mayfair in the center of London. Good for business traveler - not very romantic or family-friendly. Hotel is of a certain age, and unfortunately has not been refurbished for a while. Room is of a good size for London though. Would recommend it for business travelers, or tourists.

Slept like a baby for two nights and was able to walk or take the nearby Tube everywhere I wanted. Corridors smell vaguely of cigarettes, and rooms are in need of sprucing up. Clearly, some parts of the hotel have seen better days. Bathroom is just fine.

Positives: Close to Tube and walking distance to sights.

Negatives: Bed, walls, furniture have seen better days - scuffed, scratched. Bathroom is okay.

Location was good, but rooms were small, even by Europeon standards. Hotel staff was cordial, but with regard to local knowledge and suggestions they were almost useless.

This hotel was located in the heart of London However this is a one star hotel and the price should reflect that.

Holiday Inn Mayfair is very well located. Breakfast and bar at the hotel was fine. Internet access was superb but very expensive $30 per day but that is London for you. This is a solid 3 star hotel. Not a 4 star hotel as sold. Rooms were nicely appointed and bathrooms were fine.

Positives: Location and internet access speed.

Negatives: Cost of internet access.

This hotel is well situated. It is within walking distance to great shopping and dining. The tube station is a short walk in a safe neighborhood. The hotel staff was amazingly helpful and courteous. The only drawback is the old decor and the bedding.

Positives: The location was outstanding.

Negatives: The decor was old. The bed reminded me of Motel 6.
