In fact, Portland and Weymouth are proud to be the venue for the sailing and windsurfing events for the London 2012 Olympics. If you are looking for a more relaxed visit Portland is famous for it's bird watching, whilst tropical gardens and stately homes are all within a short drive. Or why not just take advantage of our stunning scenery and take a leisurely walk to Portland Bill and just sit back and enjoy the views.
