This family house is arranged over three floors offering three double bedrooms and a lovely separate dining room where we will serve you delicious breakfasts using locally sourced produce which is organic wherever possible.The town centre is less than a minutes stroll away and the two main line railway stations are both 5 minutes walk away, making Duck House the perfect place to stay with or without a car!
Dorchester, known as Thomas Hardy's 'Casterbridge' in his novels, is the historic county town of Dorset, boasting a wide range of shops, restaurants and tourist attractions, all within walking distance of Duck House. There is a lovely Victorian park nearby, the venue of plenty of outdoor summer concerts.
Nearby restaurants include La Gondola, Surf & Turf Shelley's Plaice, Peter Pan, and Casupola Restaurant Cafe.
