Built in the 1890s out of local stone it has retained all of its character and charm. The Bed and Breakfast has views to the front across Queens Park and School Knott and to the rear of Scafell, yet is only a few minutes walk to Windermere village centre or a short stroll to the lake. Windermere is a great base from which to see the rest of the Lake District, whether it's a walking or cycling holiday you're after or just visiting to enjoy its beauty. If you're cycling we can secure your bikes for you.
