The Bay Horse is a bed & breakfast located in Ravenglass.

The Bay Horse is situated in the Lake Districts only coastal village, Ravenglass. It is a listed 18th Century former Coaching Inn which was once used by passing travellers waiting for the tide to recede before continuing on their journey over the river Esk ford. After 18 months of renovations, the majority done by ourselves, we now have a beautiful home which we can share with our guests. We restored the building to enhance its charm and character, revealing many of its original features along the way. These include oak lintels, doors, panelling, oak beams and fireplaces. If you like old properties you will love our home.
