A late Victorian House built in 1878 from traditional Lakeland Slate.

We are an ideal base for walking the many fells the Lake District has to offer and also only two or three minutes flat walk to the Town Centre. A ten minute walk will take you to the beautiful shores of Derwent Water and also the Theatre By The Lake!

We offer secure cycle storage, and for the 'occasional' wet day we have a drying room to prepare your gear for the next day's activities.

Nearby restaurants include Casa Bella, Jasper’s Coffee House, A Different Taste, and The George.
