A simple wee caravan and camping site near Carlisle in Cumbria. We are set in the wooded landscape of Netherby Estate, part of the Debatable Lands of the Scottish Borders.

You’ll find us much quieter than the congested central Lake District, yet with plenty to explore.

The area is covered in artefacts of its turbulent past with many tower houses and castles to visit. We are also convenient for Hadrians Wall, Kielder Forest, the City of Carlisle, the coast of Dumfries and Galloway and the Market Towns of the borders. Gretna Green is close by and the Border Esk and River Liddle provide excellent fishing opportunities. Several golf courses also lie within easy reach. We lie approximately 10 miles off the M6 / M74, do come and visit as a convenient overnight stop over or for a longer sojourn in the borders.
