Once an 18th Century farmhouse, our hotel has been providing accommodation for visitors and walkers for over one hundred years. It is still the perfect base from which to explore the beauty of the northern Lake District.The main hotel offers eight ensuite and three standard rooms each with individual charm, while across the courtyard our converted barn annex, Merrybreeches, provides an additional four spacious ensuite rooms each with peaceful riverside views.
